Hero MotoCorp is all set to introduce two brand-new motorcycles in India tomorrow, namely the Hero Mavrick 440 and the Hero Xtreme 125R. These motorcycles have been specifically designed to target high-volume sales in the market.
The Launch of Hero Mavrick 440
On January 23, 2024, Hero MotoCorp will unveil the Hero Mavrick 440, which is a model inspired by the Harley-Davidson X440. Boasting a retro-inspired design and a fuel tank with an aggressive appearance, the Mavrick 440 aims to compete with the Royal Enfield 350 range, Yezdi, and Jawa 300-350 cc motorcycles.

The Mavrick 440 will be powered by a familiar 440 cc single-cylinder fuel-injected oil-cooled engine, which has been borrowed from the X440 model. However, there may be some variations in performance figures. The powertrain will be mated to a six-speed transmission. Several teasers have already revealed details about the Hero Mavrick 440 , and a set of spy shots were shared a few days ago.

Although the Hero Mavrick 440 will not be as luxurious as the Harley-Davidson X440, it will still come equipped with several features. These include LED lighting, an upright handlebar, mid-set footpegs, an LCD instrument console, split seats, a side-mounted exhaust system, and fuel tank extensions with faux air intakes.
The motorcycle will have telescopic front forks and twin-sided shock absorbers at the rear to handle suspension duties. For braking, both front and rear disc brakes will be utilized, along with a dual-channel ABS. The Mavrick 440 has a strong potential to make a significant impact in the entry-level middleweight segment. Its expected price is likely to be below Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Unveiling of Hero Xtreme 125R

Although not officially confirmed, Hero is expected to showcase a sporty naked motorcycle called the Hero Xtreme 125R. As we previously revealed, it will be a direct competitor to the TVS Raider 125 and the Bajaj Pulsar NS 125. This motorcycle will feature the same engine as the Glamour 125. With 11 PS of power at 8,250 rpm and a peak torque of 10.5 Nm at 6,250 rpm, the Xtreme 125R will be equipped with a five-speed transmission.
