India witnesses the launch of the Mahindra XUV400 EV Pro, which boasts twin 10.25-inch displays, at a price range of Rs 15.49-17.49 lakh. As part of a major upgrade, the vehicle aims to bridge the gap to the Tata Nexon EV, a popular electric car in the Indian market.
Key Features:-
- The XUV400 EV Pro introduces a 10.25-inch touchscreen and instrument display, along with a redesigned center console.
- The interior now sports a dual-tone color scheme and includes rear AC vents.
To establish itself in India’s electric passenger vehicle segment, Mahindra has unveiled the 2024 Mahindra XUV400 EV Pro after just one year of customer deliveries. The entry-level EC Pro variant starts at Rs 15.49 lakh, while the top-spec EL Pro variant, available in both 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh versions, is priced at Rs 16.74 lakh and Rs 17.49 lakh respectively (introductory prices, ex-showroom). Bookings commence on January 12 at 2 pm, with deliveries starting on February 1. The introductory prices will be valid for vehicles delivered until May 31, 2024. This updated version of the all-electric XUV400 EV aims to compete with the Tata Nexon EV, India’s best-selling electric car.

The XUV400’s EV dashboard has undergone a redesign to accommodate new buttons and knobs for the dual-zone auto climate control system. The top of the center console now houses a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, replacing the previous 7.0-inch unit. This system features dedicated buttons and a volume control knob at the base. Additionally, a 10.25-inch full-digital instrument display has been introduced, offering customization options and the ability to double as a navigation screen. The car also boasts a new three-spoke, flat-bottom steering wheel.

The XUV400 EV also includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capabilities, which will be available through an over-the-air update. Furthermore, the vehicle offers more than 50 AdrenoX-connected car features. Rear AC vents have also been added, addressing a previous omission in the electric SUV.
