Tata Motors has showcased the road-ready version of the Tata Harrier EV at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Global Expo, alongside their production-spec Curvv. The all-electric SUV, featuring all-wheel drive, is expected to go on sale later this year and will serve as Tata Motors’ flagship SUV. The company claims that the Harrier EV will offer a driving range of over 500 km on a single charge.

The Tata Harrier EV is anticipated to come equipped with cutting-edge features, including vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-vehicle capabilities, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) at Level 2, automatic climate control, a layered dashboard, an illuminated logo on the two-spoke steering wheel, and an all-digital instrument cluster. It will also feature touch-based controls for climate functions, multiple airbags, and more. The pricing is expected to exceed Rs. 25 lakh.

Tata Motors assures an enhanced driving experience with advanced technologies and features. The SUV exhibits a stunning coupe-like silhouette with clean lines and distinct design elements. Its “seaweed” body color exudes confidence on the road, further accentuated by wide LED daytime running lights, aerodynamic turbine blade wheels, and striking LED tail lamps with the Tata badge placed below. Additional visual highlights include robust front and rear skid plates, roof rails, a black roof, sleek pillars, an integrated spoiler for a dual-tone appearance, and a high-mounted stop lamp.

The Tata Harrier EV is anticipated to offer a single electric motor configuration, delivering lower power, torque outputs, and a reduced driving range, likely over 400 km. However, for all-wheel-drive capabilities, the electric SUV will feature twin electric motors, one on each wheel. It will also support fast DC charging for quick recharging convenience.
