The Tata Punch EV, an all-electric version of Tata’s micro-SUV, is set to be launched in India on January 17, 2024.

Tata Motors has announced that the highly anticipated Tata Punch EV will make its debut in India on January 17, 2024. This electric variant will mark Tata’s fourth electric vehicle to hit the Indian market and the first to Utilize the all-new Acti.ev platform, which will serve as the foundation for a range of upcoming electric models from the brand.
In terms of design, the Punch EV showcases noticeable updates compared to the standard Punch. It adopts a similar aesthetic to the new Nexon EV, featuring a lightbar positioned at the front, a fully enclosed body-colored grille, and headlamps situated lower down within triangular casings on the bumper. Additionally, the Punch EV seems to incorporate a charging point on the front. While the overall proportions, silhouette, and tail section remain unchanged from the internal combustion model.
The Tata Punch EV will sit on a brand-new Ev platform, which will form the basis for future electric vehicles from Tata.

Inside the cabin, the Tata Punch EV will receive significant upgrades over the ICE Punch, including dual 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment touchscreen and instrument cluster. Tata has confirmed several first-in-segment features for the new EV, such as ventilated front seats, an electronic parking brake, an air purifier, cornering fog lamps, auto-folding wing mirrors, an electric sunroof, wireless phone charging, and 360-degree cameras. As for safety, the Punch EV will come equipped with six airbags and a standard electronic stability program (ESP), with the top-spec variant featuring a blind spot monitor as well.
