Tata Punch EV has been introduced in the Indian market with a base price of Rs. 10.99 lakh. The vehicle is available in two battery pack options, one with a 25 kWh capacity and another with a 35 kWh. The latter claims to offer a driving range of km. Customers can book electric micro SUVs either from authorized dealerships or online.

Specifications of Tata Punch EV
Tata Punch EV is equipped with two battery options, 25 kWh and 35 kWh. These batteries work together with two different motors, a 60 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous AC Motor and a 90 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous AC Motor. The former produces 114 Nm of torque, while the latter produces 190 Nm. The electric SUV can accelerate from zero to 100 kmph in 9.5 seconds and has a top speed of 140 kmph.

Charging and Connectivity Features
Tata Punch EV can be charged from 10% to 80% in approximately 56 minutes using a 50 kW DC fast charger. It also features smart lighting systems, such as a charging indicator that shows the state of charge while the vehicle is being charged. The car is equipped with bi-functional LEDs and a central position lamp for improved visibility. It also has a greeting element that activates when the vehicle is locked or unlocked.

Interior and Exterior Features
The design of the Tata Punch EV is influenced by the recently updated Nexon EV. Inside the cabin, there are twin screens, a 10.25-inch HD touchscreen, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument console. The steering wheel is a new two-spoke design with an illuminated logo. The car also offers a range of features, including the option of an electric sunroof and a 7.2 kW AC charger. Voice assistants like “Hey Tata,” Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant are also available.

Safety Features and Additional Equipment
The Punch EV comes with various safety features as standard, such as six airbags, ESP, ISOFIX anchorages, rollover mitigation, brake disc wiping, and hydraulic fading compensation. It also has an electronic parking brake with Auto Hold, a 360-camera system, and 16-inch LRR tires. Other notable features include a wireless smartphone charger, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, an air purifier with AQI display, and OTA updates.
